Why I’m Running Comrades Again for CHOC? Last year, running Comrades was a life-changing experience for me. As I faced the gruelling challenge of the race, I learned about the strength we have within us, even in the hardest moments. It taught me that no matter how tough life gets, we have the power to endure much more than we realize. For those battling cancer, especially the little ones, the journey is far more intense and relentless. Every day, children and their families endure their own version of a "Comrades" race—facing the pain, uncertainty, and exhaustion that come with battling cancer and undergoing treatment. Their strength, their resilience, is unmatched. That’s why I’m running Comrades again this year—because I want to stand alongside these brave families and show them that they’re not alone. With every step I take, I’m running for those children, their families, and the heroes at CHOC who are there to support them. Please help me make a difference in their lives.
