Personal Message:

In 2024 I ran my first comrade which was a success. The run for charity initiative gave a purpose to my run. There were moments where I wanted to pull out but I remembered that it is for a good cause. It is for this reason that I entered the comrades again, the aim is to make a change with my social runs. The is a say that goes "together we can change the world", I have realized the meaning through the donations that came from my supporters. My heart melted when I saw the amount that was collected for the different charities through the run for charity Initiative. I choose to run for SANPARKS Honorary Rangers, because it is a charity close to heart. Being born from one of the villages (Nyongane in Hazyview Mpumalanga) that are close to the Kruger National Parks, I have realized the contribution of the park to the livelihoods of the nearby villagers. It's sustainability means most of the villagers will remain employed so they can take care of their families; not to mention the small businesses that rely on the tourist that frequent the park. The SANPARKS Honorary Rangers is doing their part in ensuring the sustainability of the South African Parks and your donation will help them to realize their vision.
