Personal Message:

My name is Masetho, I am writing this to you not just as, an avid runner but as a passionate advocate for a cause that touches millions including my family, our fight against Cancer. On the 08th of June 2025, I will be running my 1st Comrades Marathon – The Ultimate Human Race. I am extremely scared and excited at the same time to embark on this test of endurance. I will be raising funds for the Childhood Cancer Foundation (CHOC), for the fighters, the survivors and the ones we have lost. Cancer does not discriminate. It affects families, loved ones and communities in ways that words cannot fully describe. Through awareness, support, and initiatives like this, WE can make a difference. Every step I take in this grueling journey represents hope, resilience, and the unwavering spirit of those battling this disease. The Comrades Marathon is no ordinary race. It is a test of willpower, fortitude, and courage much like the battle against cancer. I will go through moments of pain, exhaustion, and doubt, but giving up is not an option. Because those fighting cancer do not get to stop when it gets tough, they keep going and so will I. Therefore, this run is not about me, it is about all of us coming together for a greater purpose. Every donation, every word of encouragement, and every show of support fuel this mission. Your contribution will HELP. As I lace up my shoes and take on the road ahead.
