Personal Message:

After my second comrades in 2024, I have decided that I am done running comrades. But on the 14th of November 2024, a little boy, only 5 months old, from my hometown, received his wings. Little Maynard were diagnosed with lung cancer at the age of only 3 and a half months old. The news of "Little Maynard" shattered my heart and I felt helpless. As a Comrades runner, I also have wings, as we (Comrades Runners) are known as "Winged Messengers". Little Maynard received his heavenly wings and I have the privilege to use my wings as a winged messenger to tell his story and every other child who have been diagnosed with cancer and who are currently busy fighting a battle. A little hope and a lot of love can have a big impact.
