Personal Message:

Running for CHOC means giving up is not an option. These kids fight daily battles; battles that we cannot compare to our daily difficulties. We lost my father-in-law a few years ago to stomach cancer and I saw the daily battles he went through and can only imagine these kids fighting these battles and some of them doing it by themselves. That is my motivation to run and if I can make a small difference in one child's life fighting the cancer battle, then my running battles are worth it.
