Personal Message:

Globally, childhood cancer is on the rise. It is now estimated that one in 408 children worldwide will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 15 years. Childhood Cancer Foundation, South Africa (CHOC) is a non-profit organisation in South Africa that advocates for the health and well-being of children and teenagers diagnosed with cancer or life-threatening blood disorders and their families. The passionate and dedicated staff and volunteers of CHOC aim to save lives through early detection and comprehensive support programmes for the families affected by cancer. Having four children myself this is particularly close to my heart and knowing I will be helping raise money for this amazing charity will keep me going when I hit my low points during the Comrades run
