My brother-in-law George, who would have celebrated his 50th birthday this year, passed away in 2011. George was HIV-positive. George, who was kind and very hardworking, had so much potential, and I have no doubt that if he had the opportunity, he would have made a positive contribution to society. I often think that if we had been more loving and supportive of George in his time of need, George may have had the opportunity to reach his full potential. Thank you, HACT, for being so kind, loving, and supportive to so many members of our community and giving them the chance to reach their full potential.
