Personal Message:

These days we are all in one way or another affected by cancer. Having 3 children myself, I cannot imagine the pain, sorrow, fear and agony of battling through childhood cancer or losing a child to cancer. A few years back our daughter had to have biopsies done to test for bone cancer. It thankfully turned out not to be cancer, but the small glimpse into what might have been made me want to, even in the smallest way, contribute to this very worthy organisation. I love running Comrades - it is a passion of mine and it is a privilege for me to be able to combine running this iconic race with raising funds for CHOC.
