Rise Against Hunger

Personal Message:

We live in an unequal society in South Africa. Despite the rich minerals we have in our country unfortunately the wealth is not shared amongst the citizens. In some communities especially in rural and some impoverished locations it is not uncommon to find families who sleep on empty stomachs on a regular basis. As a Christian and a member of an Adventist club which promotes the second coming of Christ including the alleviation of human suffering, I feel it is my duty to make a difference in anyway I can to contribute towards making our country one which all citizens who live in it would be proud to call it their home without suffering of any kind including suffering from hunger.
